Confidence Pick-Me-Up's: Little Things You Can Do to Feel Better About Your Body

1. Fake it till you make it- even if you're feeling down on yourself, act as confident as possible! People are attracted to confidence in women, and soon enough, your confidence won't be fake anymore.
2. Pick one thing you like a lot about yourself- look in the mirror, and find one thing you really like about yourself. Is it your eyes, nose, toned stomach, fit arms, muscular legs? Pick a different body part everyday, and it'll help you greatly to feel better about yourself.
3. Make a power playlist- when my body confidence is low, I listen to songs like (don't judge):
Stronger- by Kelly Clarkson
Pressure (Alesso Remix)- by Alex Kenji, Starkillers, and Nadia Ali
All That I Got (Tyra Show Remix)- Fergie
4. Put on your favorite scent- what do you like the smell of? Tangerines, chocolate, flowers? Buy a perfume that you love the smell of, and use it when you want a confidence boost- this always works! (If your scent preferences are a little more exotic, and you love smells like- Wet Garden, Play-dough, etc, try scents from Demeter, they might suit you more.)
5. Look at something pretty- set your computer background to a pretty place, looking at beauty will make you feel beautiful. Note- I said something, not someone! So many girls torture themselves by constantly googling their favorite models or actresses, but usually, this only makes you feel more insecure.
6. Stop focusing in on what you don't like about yourself, even if you only do this for an hour. Every second you spend not hating on yourself, it's another second closer to making peace with your body.

Role Model of the Week- Scarlett Johansson

Why I chose her- Scar Jo is a perfect example of a woman who can be in-shape, curvy, and healthy looking at the same time.

(P.S- her thighs touch at the top, and I'm pretty sure the tens of thousands of male fans she has find it sexy, rather than wanting a 5'10 model who weighs 95 pounds.)

Love always,

Hey People! (a.k.a- The Introduction)

Hi, my name is Anastasia Kerr, and I am curvy. What do you think of when you hear that word? Nowadays, most people think of an overweight body, anywhere from
 Chloe Marshall
to Melissa McCarthy

There is nothing wrong with these women, or their bodies. They are both gorgeous. But the media refers to them as 'curvy'. If you had asked someone in the 1950's about what curvy meant to them, they would point out someone like
Marilyn Monroe
The purpose of this blog is to show women who aren't built like runway models OR plus-size models that they are beautiful to! I am curvy, not skinny, not fat. I aim to empower you to embrace your curves, know that you can be in good physical shape and still be curvy, and love your body- even if your thighs touch especially because your thighs touch.

Love always,
Anastasia Kerr
